VSTEP Speaking Part 2 là dạng bài yêu cầu thí sinh lựa chọn giải pháp tốt nhất trong 3 phương án, đồng thời giải thích lý do và phản biện các lựa chọn còn lại. Đây là phần thi quan trọng để đánh giá khả năng lập luận, so sánh và diễn đạt logic bằng tiếng
1. VSTEP Speaking Part 2 là gì?
Trong VSTEP Speaking Part 2, thí sinh sẽ nhận được: 1 tình huống cụ thể 3 phương án lựa chọn
Nhiệm vụ ở bài này, thí sinh cần phải:
- Chọn giải pháp tốt nhất
- Giải thích lý do lựa chọn
- Phản biện 2 phương án còn lại
Ví dụ đề bài: A group of people is planning a trip from Danang to Hanoi. Three means of transport are suggested: by train, by plane, and by coach. Which means of transport do you think is the best choice?
2. Phương pháp làm bài hiệu quả
Bước 1: Chuẩn bị (1 phút)
Chọn nhanh phương án dễ nói nhất (không cần đúng/sai)
Nghĩ:
- 2 lý do chính để chọn
- 2 điểm yếu của phương án còn lại
Tip: “Dễ nói > đúng ý” (ưu tiên từ vựng bạn có)
Bước 2: Trình bày (2–3 phút)
Chia bài nói thành 3 phần rõ ràng:
- Introduction (Mở bài) → 2–3 câu
- Main Body (Thân bài) → 6–8 câu
- Conclusion (Kết bài) → 1–2 câu
3. TEMPLATE VSTEP SPEAKING PART 2 (CỰC CHUẨN)
PART 1 – INTRODUCTION (Mở bài)
Công thức:
- Paraphrase đề
- Nêu lựa chọn
📌 Template: The situation is about [paraphrase topic]. There are three possible options, including [option A], [option B], and [option C]. Personally, I believe that [your choice] would be the best option.
PART 2 – MAIN BODY (Thân bài)
Nêu: 2 lợi ích chính So sánh + phản biện
📌 Template:
Reason 1:
First of all, one major advantage of [your choice] is that [reason 1]. Compared to [option B/C], this option is more [adj], because [explain].
Reason 2:
Another reason is that [reason 2]. This makes it better than [option B/C], which [disadvantage].
Refute other options:
On the other hand, [option B] is not a good choice because [reason]. Similarly, [option C] also has some drawbacks, such as [reason].
PART 3 – CONCLUSION (Kết bài)
📌 Template:
In conclusion, I strongly believe that [your choice] is the most suitable option because of its [key benefits].
4. TỪ NỐI GHI ĐIỂM CAO (BẮT BUỘC PHẢI DÙNG)
Để bài nói mượt như band 6.5+, hãy dùng:
- Mở bài: The situation is about… There are three options…
- Thêm ý: First of all / To begin with Another reason is that…
- So sánh: Compared to… This is better than…
- Phản biện: On the other hand… However…
- Kết luận: In conclusion… Overall…
5. BÀI MẪU NGẮN (ÁP DỤNG TEMPLATE)
The situation is about choosing a means of transport from Danang to Hanoi. There are three options: by train, by plane, and by coach. Personally, I believe that travelling by plane is the best choice.
First of all, flying is the fastest option, which can save a significant amount of time, especially for long-distance travel. Compared to the train and coach, it is much more efficient. Another reason is that it is more comfortable, as passengers can avoid long hours of sitting and feeling tired.
On the other hand, travelling by coach can be physically exhausting and time-consuming. Similarly, the train is slower and less convenient in this situation.
In conclusion, I believe that travelling by plane is the most suitable option due to its speed and comfort.
