My situation is that the city council is planning to spend 1 million USD improving the local environment. There are three options such as planting more trees, building a factory to recycle waste, and relocating hospitals to the suburbs.

Among the three options, I think planting more trees is the best choice because of some reasons. The first reason is that it helps clean the air and reduce pollution. For example, trees absorb carbon dioxide and provide oxygen. The second reason is that it makes the city more beautiful and relaxing. For instance, green parks and streets improve people’s mood. Finally, it’s simple and cost-effective. To be specific, it benefits everyone without causing disruption.

I don’t think that building a factory to recycle waste is suitable because it costs a lot of money and takes time to build. For instance, it might take years before people can see the results.

Although relocating hospitals to the suburbs is a good idea, I don’t choose it. Simply because it may make it harder for patients in the city to get medical help. To illustrate, people may need to travel longer distances for treatment.

To sum up, if I were in the case, I would choose planting more trees for the reasons I have mentioned.
