My situation is that there are some weak students in my class, and I am thinking of finding ways to help them. There are three options: a teacher, an academic tutor, and an excellent classmate.

Among the three options, I think an excellent classmate is the best choice because of some reasons. The first reason is that classmates understand each other better. For example, they know what parts are difficult and can explain in a simple way. The second reason is that they can study together every day. For instance, it’s easier to ask questions and share notes. Finally, it helps build friendship and teamwork. To be specific, both weak and good students can improve together.

I don’t think that asking a teacher is suitable because teachers are often busy. For instance, they don’t have enough time to help each student individually.

Although hiring an academic tutor is a good idea, I don’t choose it. Simply because it may cost a lot of money. To illustrate, some students may not be able to afford it.

To sum up, if I were in the case, I would choose an excellent classmate for the reasons I have mentioned.
