My situation is that my sister’s wedding is coming next month. My family is thinking of giving her a great present. There are three options we can choose: a three-day tour, a new car, and a new house.

Among the three options, I think giving a new house is the best choice because it’s the most meaningful and long-lasting gift. For example, my sister and her husband can live there and start their new life together. The second reason is that a house shows care and stability. For instance, it helps them feel secure and comfortable.

I don’t think that giving a three-day tour is suitable because it only brings short-term happiness. For instance, after the trip, there’s nothing left for them to use or remember daily.

Although giving a new car is a good idea, I don’t choose it. Simply because maintaining a car costs a lot of money. To illustrate, they may have to spend more on fuel and repairs later.

To sum up, if I were in the case, I would choose giving a new house for the reasons I have mentioned.
