I’m excited to let you know that I have won the second prize in an art competition in my area. My mom has agreed to give me a trip as a present and I’m thinking of a short journey to your country this summer. Could you give me some advice? I want to travel to beautiful places in your country in two weeks with my mom. Where should we go and what can we do?. What’s the weather like in your country in summer?
Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Emma!
Congratulations on winning second prize in the art competition! That's such an amazing achievement and you definitely deserve this special trip. I'm thrilled that you're planning to visit my country this summer - it's going to be an unforgettable experience for you and your mom!
💬 I can't wait to help you plan the perfect trip!
For a two-week trip, I'd highly recommend visiting three main destinations. First, you should spend 4-5 days in Hanoi, the capital city, where you can explore the Old Quarter, visit the Temple of Literature, and enjoy traditional water puppet shows. Then, head to Ha Long Bay for 2-3 days to experience the stunning limestone islands and take a cruise on the emerald waters. Finally, spend the remaining days in Hoi An, a charming ancient town with colorful lanterns, beautiful beaches, and excellent tailors if you want custom-made clothes.
There are so many wonderful activities you can enjoy! In Hanoi, you must try a street food tour - the pho and banh mi are incredible. You could also take a cyclo ride around Hoan Kiem Lake. In Ha Long Bay, I'd suggest booking an overnight cruise so you can watch the sunset and sunrise over the bay, go kayaking, and visit the stunning caves. In Hoi An, don't miss the lantern-making workshops, and you can rent bicycles to explore the rice paddies and nearby beaches. Since you love art, you'll appreciate the local galleries and craft villages in all three cities.
Summer in Vietnam, especially from June to August, is quite hot and humid with temperatures ranging from 28-35°C. It's also the rainy season, so you should expect occasional afternoon showers. I'd recommend packing light, breathable cotton clothes, comfortable walking shoes, and a light raincoat or umbrella. Don't forget sunscreen, a sun hat, and sunglasses because the sun can be very strong. Also, bring a light scarf or shawl for visiting temples and pagodas, where you'll need to cover your shoulders.
I'm so excited for your visit! If you need help booking accommodations or tours, just let me know. I can also recommend some great local restaurants and hidden spots that tourists usually miss. Send me your exact travel dates when you know them, and I'll make sure to show you around personally if our schedules match!
💬 Have a wonderful time planning your trip, and congratulations again on your art prize!
Best wishes, [Your Name]
