My situation is that my brother has just graduated from university. There are three plans for him: go straight to work, study a Master’s degree, and travel.

Among the three options, I think studying a Master’s degree is the best choice because it helps him gain more knowledge and increase job opportunities. For example, many companies prefer candidates with higher education. The second reason is that he is still in a good learning mood. For instance, it’s easier to continue studying right after graduation than to go back to school later.

I don’t think that going straight to work is suitable because he might not have enough experience for a good position. For instance, he could end up in a low-paying job.

Although travelling is a good idea, I don’t choose it. Simply because it doesn’t help him build his career. To illustrate, he might spend too much money without gaining professional experience.

To sum up, if I were in the case, I would choose studying a Master’s degree for the reasons I have mentioned.
